Oct 30, 2015 Hey guys I have a problem with the MyHarmony software i wanted to change a little setting on my 650 remote but when i try to start the software it gets stuck on the loading screen at 50%. I did reinstall the software but it still doesn't work. I did a google search and i found on the logitech. Force quit the app, then open it again
A known issue with the Logitech Harmony 900 is battery swelling. This is when the battery expands in size and stops working properly. The screen might turn black or white if you have recently done a software update and can be fixed. If the remote's touch screen suddenly freezes during use then it is most likely a software issue. The USB drivers for the Harmony 900/1000/1100 remotes are not compatible with 64-bit mode and therefore will not allow the remote to communicate with the Harmony remote software. If you have enabled 64-bit mode on your Mac, you will need to boot your Mac into 32-bit mode. For steps on how to do this, refer to this article.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Force the app to close.
Apple Watch: With the app open, press and hold the side button to show the power options. Then press and hold the Digital Crown to quit the app.
Apple TV: Double press the TV/Home button and swipe left or right to find the app with the issue. Then swipe up to close the app. You can’t force apps to quit on Apple TV (3rd generation).
Restart your device

Restart your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Apple TV. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
Check for updates
Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, watchOS, or tvOS. Then check for app updates.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch: You can manually update apps. You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Apple TV: Go to Settings > Apps and turn on Automatically Update Apps. If you don't have automatic updates turned on, you can open the App Store, go to the Purchased tab, and open an app's product page to see if an update is available.
Reinstall the app
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Open the Settings app. Tap General, then tap iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage). Tap the affected app, then tap Offload app. Tap Offload app again. Wait a moment for the app to offload, then tap Reinstall App.
Apple TV: Highlight the app on the Home screen, then press and hold the Touch surface until the app jiggles. Press Play/Pause, then select Delete. Open the App Store and redownload the app. Some apps require subscriptions for activation. If you can't activate the app or you don’t remember your sign-in information, contact the app developer.
Apple Watch: Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab. Scroll to the app you want to remove, then tap it. Turn off Show App on Apple Watch, and wait for it to disappear from your watch's Home screen. To reinstall the app, scroll down to Available Apps in the My Watch tab and tap Install.

When the firmware is corrupted on your remote, it can sometimes be difficult (or impossible) to establish communication and successfully re-apply the firmware using the standard Harmony Software user interface. If, after multiple attempts, you are not able to complete a firmware download, you may want to try downloading and launching a 'local' firmware file. These 'kernel' files either contain a complete firmware image or permit more direct communication by bypassing the initial Connectivity Check. In order to use these you will need to have the original Harmony Software (not the newer MyHarmony) already installed. Simply download the appropriate file (based on your model). Once downloaded, double-click to launch the file, USB-connect your Harmony remote and, with luck, the firmware will be successfully downloaded and restored. Please note - there is always risk when updating/re-applying firmware and we recommend that you do this only if all other troubleshooting options have failed. Note also that, on some models, you will need to re-apply your Activity/Device profile as the firmware update will wipe out these settings.
